Hello, fellow Ventura County Community College District Retirees! Our retiree association (VCCCDRA) welcomes you. Our retiree group is comprised of certificated faculty and classified staff, including directors, supervisors, managers, and administrators from both groups. We invite you to join our group and take advantage of our programs, social events, newsletter, and online social media platforms to stay connected and informed.
VCCCDRA was first established as a social organization for retirees to stay connected with their colleagues and friends, as well as with the colleges and the District Office. However, the Association’s purpose has expanded, especially in recent years, to include informing retirees about the ins and outs of retiree healthcare and other benefits and, to the extent possible, working to protect those benefits. The Association’s Benefits Committee members also now perform a thorough annual review of our health plans at renewal time and inform the membership of any substantive changes. The Executive Board investigates and tries to help resolve any process issues that you report to us.
The VCCCDRA website, blog, newsletter, and Facebook Group platforms have been developed to help our retirees stay connected and informed.
