Below is a history of the various VCCCDRA Executive Boards. The Board is comprised of elected positions, president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer; and positions appointed by the president. The appointed positions are usually chairs of committees and those fulfilling specific tasks, e.g., newsletter editor, blogmaster, etc.
In the beginning, the VCCCDRA was established as a social organization and over time has evolved to provide a voice in protecting retirees’ medical benefits, establishing scholarships for deserving students, and to establish methods to communicate with retirees.
