The Educational Issues Committee was formed in spring of 2005 as the Political Committee, later changed to its current name, to begin an active involvement in influencing the outcome of the elections of members of the Board of Trustees of the Ventura County Community College District. The Educational Issues Committee also meets regularly with members of the Board of Trustees to serve as an information resource on important issues facing the District.
